Hugging this character: Unless you're someone she very seriously dislikes, hugging is fine.

Kissing this character: Yes for a chaste kiss from family/friends, or if a romantic dynamic has been established. Otherwise she'll almost certainly slap you.

Flirting with this character: She's terribly awkward and bad at flirting, but feel free to try.

Fighting with this character: Verbal fighting? Absolutely. Physical fighting? Probably okay if there's a good reason for it, but it's not like she has any actual skills.

Injuring this character: Fine within the context of a plot, but let's talk first.

Note: This is a very different canon from the Disney version, please keep in mind that backstory and characterization will not be the same.

Shipping: I love to play out romantic shipping plots with Beauty, but mostly prefer to FTB on smut. Her age can vary from 16 to early 20s, depending on the situation.
YES: M/F - especially characters that fit the "Beast" dynamic, but I also love "aww they're so cute together" pairings.
MAYBE: F/F - on a case-by-case basis, talk to me about it first.
NO: Characters under the age of 17 (for teen Beauty), characters under the age of 21 (for adult Beauty).

Beauty Huston is the titular character from Robin McKinley's novelization of the Beauty and the Beast tale, Beauty. A basic overview of the canon can be found here.

Although the novel is set in a sort of vague fantasy-Enlightenment period, I tend mostly to play a version of the character that has been AU'd to a modern day setting.*

*However, she is also available in original fantasy flavor or WW2 AU.

The basic elements of the story remain the same: she has a father and two sisters, a brother-in-law, and a niece and a nephew. Her brother-in-law Ger is a mechanic, and Beauty's traditional love of horses has been translated to a love of engines and automobiles of every kind. She's a tomboy who loves poetry, roses, and dead languages. As of yet, she hasn't met her Beast.

To deal with the underage issue, this version of Beauty has been aged up to anywhere between 18 and 24, depending on the setting and plot interests.

She wears the lovely face of Sophia Bush.
